The Board currently has one open position and is looking for a volunteer. It is a great way to help manage your community and requires approximately 3-5 hours per month. Please email Don Danos at ddanos@lelandmanagement.com to indicate interest or ask questions.
South Florida Water Management District along with the original developer Ashton Woods are doing renovation work on the retention ponds at Mapperton & Cragside to deepen and reconstruct the area. This is not an HOA project.
In cooperation with Orange County Environmental Protection Division, the Board has started a project to repair and restore the Lake Sawyer shoreline. Invasive non-native plant species in the HOA common area property around the dock and shoreline have severely endangered the water quality of Lake Sawyer. The lake is an important feature of our community and corresponding property values and the project will help maintain those values in the future. The restoration project will take about 3 months to complete.
This is a good time to remind each resident to protect our local waterways and lakes by acting responsibly with your yard waste, sprinkler system maintenance and fertilizer run off.
